- 1 lb cooked peeled, and deveined shrimp
- 1 cup Clamato juice or tomato juice
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 tbsp hot sauce Valentina or Cholula
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- 1/2 cup diced cucumber
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/2 cup diced avocado
- 1 finely chopped jalapeño optional

- Crackers or tortilla chips for serving
In a large bowl, mix Clamato juice, ketchup, lime juice, hot sauce, salt, and pepper.
Add shrimp, red onion, cucumber, tomatoes, cilantro, and jalapeño (if using). Stir well.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Gently fold in the diced avocado just before serving.
Serve chilled with crackers or tortilla chips. Enjoy!
- For the best flavor, let the mixture chill for at least 30 minutes.
- To prevent avocado from browning, toss it with extra lime juice before adding.
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less hot sauce and jalapeño.
