Ingredients
  

  • 1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk (for sweetness and a creamy texture)
  • 1 ¾ cups whole milk or substitute with half-and-half or heavy cream for a richer creamer
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract the key to the signature French vanilla flavor

Optional Additions:

  • A pinch of cinnamon
  • A splash of almond extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste for extra depth of flavor

Instructions
 

  • 1️⃣ Gather Your Ingredients
  • Have a medium saucepan, a whisk, and a storage container (like a mason jar or glass bottle) ready.
  • 2️⃣ Mix the Base
  • In a medium saucepan, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and whole milk.
  • Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally to prevent scalding.
  • 3️⃣ Add the Vanilla
  • Once warm (do not boil), remove from heat.
  • Stir in pure vanilla extract and any optional flavor additions.
  • 4️⃣ Cool & Store
  • Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
  • Transfer into a clean glass bottle or jar, seal tightly, and refrigerate.
  • 5️⃣ Shake Before Use
  • Since homemade creamer lacks stabilizers, ingredients may separate. Shake well before each use.

Notes

For a dairy-free version: Use coconut milk or almond milk.
For extra sweetness: Add 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey.
For a frothy texture: Blend for 30 seconds before storing.
