Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (for sweetness and a creamy texture)
  • 1 ¾ cups whole milk (or substitute with half-and-half or heavy cream for a richer creamer)
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract (the key to the signature French vanilla flavor)
  • Optional Additions:
    • A pinch of cinnamon
    • A splash of almond extract
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste (for extra depth of flavor)

Instructions

1️⃣ Gather Your Ingredients

  • Have a medium saucepan, a whisk, and a storage container (like a mason jar or glass bottle) ready.

2️⃣ Mix the Base

  • In a medium saucepan, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and whole milk.
  • Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally to prevent scalding.

3️⃣ Add the Vanilla

  • Once warm (do not boil), remove from heat.

4️⃣ Cool & Store
